Today, I went to the National Gallery of Victoria (Melbourne) to check out their current exhibition: the NGV Triennial.
The work of over 100 artists from 32 countries are displayed all over the Gallery, and it is completely free !
The art installations are quite varied; some are fun and playful, some are beautiful and other are serious. There is something for everyone, and most of the rooms are kids friendly.
«The NGV Triennial explores cutting edge technologies, architecture, animation, performance, film, painting, drawing, fashion design, tapestry and sculpture».
Being still in the middle of the school holidays, the Gallery was very packed.
I am thinking of going back in a few weeks and hope to beat the crowd…
Here are some of my favourite installations:
The NGV Triennial is on until the 15th April 2018, and the entry is free.
